Can anyone give a recommendation for companies who can relocate a wooden outdoor shed? I have the shed on runners and it should be able to be moved. I just don't know which (or any) companies that can do this. Thanks for the help!

You might want to contact one of the local companies that manufactures storage buildings. Some of them move buildings as a sideline business.

If the building's not too wide between the runners and not too long, some wrecker service rollback trucks can move storage sheds.

How far are you moving it? I bought a bunch of beer and pizza and moved an 8x16 from by-the-house to by-the-back-fence with the help of a bunch of friends.

Too tempting.

Thumbs up Shed movers

Lowe’s recommended a regular flatbed car hauler for a 8x12 shed. It tilts and can shift without moving the truck. I think it was a towing company vs advertised shed movers. 256-990-7057. Didn’t add guy or company name when adding into phone a while back. It was around $150 to go twelve miles.

Call the local high schools and ask to speak to the football coach. If you can get the coach on the line, ask if his offensive lineman coach is at least 50 years old. If you get lucky and find a few o-line coaches who are 50 years old or better then choose the oldest out of the bunch.

Offer the o-line coach the opportunity to use your yard or where ever the shed is located as a one-time-only practice field for him and his linemen. Let him know about the shed. If you have some spare 2x10 boards then let him know that too. It will be less stuff he'll have to bring. Also let him know that the guys can have all the water they need for this old fashion practice. Requires just one water hose.

By the end of the day, the coach will get what he's always wanted for a long time and you'll have the opportunity to view the shed in 100 different location around the yard for your choosing of its final resting location.
