Does anyone have any info or opinion on Williams Elementary? What I found is really bad! Test scores that have consistently gone down over the past several years. There is a community off County Line Rd that I LOVE, however the elementary school is Williams, and I can't find a good thing about it! Thanks.

Thank you Charles, this one the one site I had found that revealed the awful test scores and poor opinions. Just to show what I mean look at the scores below:
3rd Grade: Math State Average-77 Williams-46
Reading State Average-85 Williams-75
4th Grade: Math State Average-78 Williams-59
Reading State Average-85 Williams-75
5th Grade: Math State Average-77 Williams-48
Reading State Average-85 Williams-69

Really, really, bad and I am really surprised.

This isn't a problem. This is a no brainer. Don't buy a home there. Buy a home with better schools.

It's easier to find an acceptable home near a good school than it is to find an acceptable school near a good home.
Going on objective data alone (which is a debatable way of choosing a school), find a school with good test scores on Great Schools. Use valleymls to find homes filtered on those schools.

Once you've done that, you're 10% done.

Yeah, I know I have ruled this area out. I was just surprised by the data. I thought that in that particular area with the high end homes on Zierdt Rd, etc... that a great school would be a given. Wrong! Just as surprising is that the scores have steadily declined over the past 3-4 years. Back to Madison City, SE Hsv searches I suppose.
