Found this:

"If you are looking for a new, creative location to celebrate a child’s upcoming birthday party,
consider using the Museum Academy’s spacious classrooms overlooking
the pond at Big Spring International Park.

The Education Department will arrange for a qualified art instructor and
all the art supplies for a hands-on art activity for the party guests."

Another place might be The Alabama Music Hall of Fame. I was there last month and I think they have picnic tables or perhaps a party room. It is a cool place to visit. I did not know there were so many musicians from Alabama and how the Muscle Shoals area has so much rich music history.

A day trip to that area could be a trip to Helen Keller's childhood home. It was rather exciting to be at the place where Helen Keller lived and where Annie Sullivan taught her. There are sweet ladies that work there and give a short tour.

We ended our day trip to a dinner at Dale's . There were 30 people in our group so I am not sure if the food was as good as if it was just 2 - 4 people. Everyone had steak and I thought it was ok...but a little over priced.

My daughter and I are definitely going to do the Heller Keller childhood home. It's on our todo list for sure.
