It is our first year here. I am looking for a farm that my little ones can have hay ride, corn maze, pumpkin pickup, etc.

Thanks!

I keep hearing about the Maze on 72 going to Scottsborro. It sounds like a lot of fun for the kids.

We went there last weekend. I don't recall pumpkins but there may have been some.

Be careful in that maze; there were tons of fire ant mounds.

Tate Farms in Meridianville is the best one I have found around here. You can go to Tate Farms Cotton Pickin' Pumpkins in Meridianville, Alabama. My kids always have a blast going there.

I concur, Tate Farms is awesome and a lot of fun.

However, if anyone knows of a pumpkin patch that is JUST a pumpkin patch (pick your own pumpkin without all the other attractions), I'd love to know of one. My daughter is going to Tate Farms with her school on a field trip, and rather than take her to Tate Farms a second time, I'd rather just take my kids to an ordinary pumpkin patch to quickly do our favorite part (picking pumpkins.)

We did the MAIZE as well which is also fun, although my 6 yr old was scared of/intimidated by the actual maze. No pumpkins there as far as I know.

I keep on hearing about another pumpkin patch, Lyon Family Farms in Taft, TN. It is close to the AL / TN line off of North Parkway 231 / 431. We were thinking about trying this one out this year as well.

The link is:

I think that is a walk through Scarecrows...but there may be more involved. I had seen some signs around town and there was something in the paper about that as well.
