I just moved here to the huntsville/harvest area and we are going through my very spoiled kids room and she has atleast 40 stuffed animals that are in very good condition. Wanted to donate them to a good cause but not sure where, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your child sounds like mine..since the holidays are coming up, I wonder if childrens services would like these for their foster kids? Just a thought. Of course, there is always the Salvation Army and Purple Hearts.
I think I would contact DHR to see if they would like to have them. I'm sure many of these children would love to have a stuffed animal to hold at night after being removed from their family. You have a kind heart!

We recently moved here too and we donated many of my daughter's toys to Christmas All Year Long www.christmasallyearlong.org . It is located on Jordan Road....going toward TN...about 1 mile past Sparkman. I brought over clothes, bedding, towels, sheets, pillows, and kitchenware (dishes, pots , pans, and gadgets) ...they were so happy to receive everything and we were happy to donate. It sure gave us more room in our garage!
