I have lived here all my life and I have to second that. There is always talk about getting people downtown. I would love to see more downtown retail. Parking and walking to several different retail stores in downtown Huntsville would be fantastic!

These are the kinds of businesses Huntsville desperately needs. Not more Wal Marts and Applebee's.

Isn't that what the station was supposed to be like? They forgot one major part though they hardly put any games in there! No wonder they are already under new management.

There is a small population of people who are dedicated to supporting downtown businnesses. There are several bars that do ok, but not any kind of retail concentration that lures people to just "go downtown and walk around". The vast majority of Madison County residents never or rarely venture downtown. I would love to be able to tell you to put your business downtown, but frankly I don't think there is enough foot traffic. Five Points might be a better location.

Me too, it's not the first time it's been said, but that just means there's others who want it here.

There was some kind of petition at one time. We need to bring them to Huntsville.
