Sunshine followed his hormones and went deer hunting. 280 must be a mess. I gave our feathered friends extra food, lit the fire place and the sofatiger has not requested breakfast. A fine day for painting floor boards:>)

I don't know what I'll do without a fresh supply of milk, bread, batteries and ammo (per Charles )...we have maybe a half inch up here on Pea Ridge.

Quick, someone snap some pics and post on "Helpful links if you're moving to Hsv" thread - this is both (recent) history in the making, and a warning for newcomers to pack their skis. It's the only way to get to work when traffic shuts down. Of course, carpooling also available by bobsled.

On the other hand, I'm grateful I don't need to fly out of "the most expensive airport in the nation" to show my kids snow in Colorado. It could be the only time they see snow in their lifetime due to "global warming".

We played our Holidazed Christmas gig at the Coffee Tree last night and it started to snow as we were packing up. Wanted to go hot-tubbing when we got home but the wife said it was too cold!?! Woke up around 7:00 and saw our winter wonderland here in English Village. Beautiful!

I recommend wine glasses with extra long stems. No more problem with exposed hands.

a minor dusting of snow and cars pile up on elevated roadways? there goes that "smartest city" position.

something in the water here makes it impossible for people to slow the #$%^ down

^^I think the whole state got it that year, it even snowed down here near the FL line. I remember our section of town being without power and going with my Mom that morning to get a sausage biscuit at one of the few places open.

It's like California when it rains.
