That's me, too! No purse is worth that much. Don't tell that to my sister-in-law, though.

My wife's an engineer too, so if I spend $400 on something for her it better be a cool gadget and not a stupid purse.

Wow, you sure are self-righteous.

Nonetheless, I still don't know how they are paying the rent unless they are being subsidized in some way...

BTW, have you seen the location of the new Melting Pot restaurant? You will have to walk a mile to get there from your car.

$400.00 is half a righteous greenhouse. A bit more difficult to nab on the street, too.

(I don't own a Coach, I just look at them. Especially the externally logo-less studded leather variety. I do, however, own a genuinely antique carpet bag, as in older than I am. eBay. Purchased for half a tank of gas, similar currently worth a week's groceries.)

Melting Pot...oh, pre-parenthood pleasures. Must find sitter and drink red wine. I don't mind the walk - will need it to burn off the meal.

No way, I am a gutless wimpy corporate-employee type

But I admire those who are willing to start their own business and hire employees

Um hum... I have bad news... $400 doesn't begin to address one of those handbags

I can only speak on LV bags, that's what my wife likes. A "mini" handbag starts with $1,200 and upward to $2,000 for a full-size handbag. A wallet-type purse goes for $500. I have my credit card statements to back this up

I personally use a $5 wallet for over 10 yrs....

Ah, the studded thing is a Burberry...now there's some stupid money.

I'm not sure how leasing contracts work, but I know the rent from whence I came put several businesses under and that was over a year ago...only so many you can lay off before closing the doors.

That's right. Your pure grace & outward beauty radiates to those who're around you. No stones nor rocks can replace that soft ivory-like skin and alabama crimson-red lips of yours while the your eyes sparkles light up the room as you walk in.

psssst... wanna buy some land by the river?
