I always thought success in one's life was self defined? What is success for one person may not be for another, but that's life, right?

Exactly right! Success is a moving target. To some being successful is being able to feed their family on a daily basis, while others only consider themselves (or others) a success if they have tons of toys (and sometimes hidden debt...it's all for show sometimes).

What I consider to be a success is something that you don't see with the naked eye. Loving family, money going to the right places so I can retire one day, etc.
