Does anyone speak Norwegian or know of anyone that does perhaps in the Birmingham area? I'm looking for a tutor in the language.. I speak some but need help in conversation. Thanks so much!!!!!

Have you contacted UAB and Auburn's international department? Students may be a source for your needs.

An even better option would be to contact the international department at Alabama. For one thing it's closer to Birmingham, and probably offers more resources. Here's a link, Norwegian is listed on the right.

I would still advise you to check out what they have at UAB.

Thanks So much.. I have tried UAB sometime back but with no luck. I have sent an email to Alabama in Tuscaloosa just today hoping for a response.

I'm personally an Italian minor, so I'm quite familiar with the foreign language department, though I've never met one of the teachers that teaches Norwegian. Either way, the department is pretty hospitable, and I'm sure they've gotten questions like your's before. Good luck!
