Hi...
I have been reading many of the posts here, with many posters saying how high the hurricane insurance has went up. Can some of you Floridians please give us an idea what the average going rate is? Giving a few details for the rate you pay, like Location, Age of home, Size of home, ect. I would assume it varies maybe because of acreage, elevation, Gulf side vs. Atlantic side? And I have seen many comments on how high your property tax has risen. Also.. would there be a lower insurance rate for those of you who live.. say in the central part of state? Assuming that less damage would be associated living inland or north central? my wife and I have been searching Arizona for a new home, warm weather lol! But I have done some home searches on the Gulf side, around Spring Hill, Brooksville, Dade City area. Great looking homes at very reasonable prices, golf-gated communties.. any input for this area or north inland of this area? Any and all info would be much appreciated,, Thanks!
