Should my friend going on a Cruise to Grand Cayman be really concerned about Hurricane Patricia?

She will depart from Tampa, FL Oct. 26th at 4:00pm for a 5 day Western Caribbean cruise to Grand Cayman.

(Disclaimer: I'm not a Meteorologist / forecaster but my personal views are below).

If it were me, I'd enjoy my vacation/cruise! Patricia hit the other side of Mexico and is currently being torn apart by the mountainous terrain / just by being over land away from it's water source. As of 5am EST Saturday 10-24-2015 it's barely a hurricane and by tonight will likely only have winds around 45mph as it continues to weaken. Should emerge into southeastern Texas or just off the Texas coast Sunday but is being picked up and what ever is left will come into the southern US / SE US as a rain event.

Hopefully wave heights will stay down leaving from Tampa and heading south. Some chopy waters out in parts of the gulf today. #dramamine
