To me, storms that continue to stay alive is telling me the Atlantic is priming up & ready to produce.

Weather it be because of less wind shear, no dry air around, or simply warmer waters, this might be a sign that we may see continued activity for the Atlantic Hurricane season. Buckle up? We'll see.

New one about to form in the Gulf. Will post in the general thread.

Although this is shaping up to be an active season with less wind shear, warmer waters, etc., according to the National Hurricane Center director, Dr. Rick Knabb, "Preseason and early season Tropical cyclones tell us little to nothing about expected hurricanes during peak of Atlantic season". So no correlation has been found thus far in the satellite era.
