NWS Miami.. Best advice.. "Don't focus on Exact Track" and "Now is the time to act".. 48hrs till it begins in South Florida. (I don't think South Florida will get it as bad as central or northeast side though)

Exactly.

When Sandy was coming I boarded up my weakest windows NE facing windows. They can only take up to 90mph winds and we were forecasted to get 95mph wind gusts. Why chance it. Max ended up 75mph with many 65mph gusts. The sound was insane with all the trees around. My roof can handle up to 110mph before ripping up so I was safe with that but still had tarps ready. I didn't do anything with Irene since it was weaker but produced insane amount of rain and coastal flooding. (flooding doesn't affect me)

Construction Codes are different in Florida. I'm sure roofs are built to withstand 115mph+? And windows too. But still, you just never know if age, rot, ect will play a role

My house survived the eye of Andrew so no worries with this storm.
