Yeah, last hour or so did jog north a bit but could just be that natural wobble. Next few hours probably back to moving NW. Any extra north wobble spares more of Florida and threatens northern parts more and Georgia

I keep saying north of Palm Beach but part of me wonders if this spot will be under the ocean too

Maybe not since the center is already at that latitude? Is it high tide?

Reguardless of landfall, very high, life threatening storm surge likely into the ne corner of Florida and GA due to the shape of the coast collecting high amount of water.

And....during the night too...

Yup... Current look at which direction the winds are coming from. Just pushing and pushing as it spins and spins all that water into the coast.

Ignore the 976mb. That's not the "minimum" pressure

I see how south Florida gets spared from flooding too the way the land jogs in to the west like that, water wont push up against Miami


FL/GA border & northern Florida looks like the worst spot to me for flooding from the Ocean.

So, it would land around Cape Cañaveral? NASA had made the preparations required? i think they have sensible material there for their spacial operations, right?

Yeah, I saw "space coast" being mentioned for the landfall few times. Should be around there. No mission to Mars this week.
