Not to say that Irma won't be a threat, but as for the US, I'll wait till it's a lot closer to us.

Right below this thread, is a very informative and regularly updated thread about Irma. Mind you, one that states clearly that it is too early to tell exactly where Irma will make landfall (if at all).

This thread should be deleted.

That image looks like Irma is lot more likely to rip those islands vs skirt them...
