Several rivers in Puerto Rico now flooding with heavy rains currently, will only grow throughout the day.

San Juan current forcast.

Today: Hurricane conditions. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. South wind 100 to 120 mph becoming south 55 to 65 mph. Winds could gust as high as 170 mph.

Per NWS San Juan, eye of Maria is about 15miles SSW of San Juan.

Well San Juan:

Radar overall PR off line.

Weather station at airport off line.

Tidal station wind indicator shot

All we have for live data is pressure and water level.



However, you can see how low station is to water so that is why I don't expect it for whole time.

Doninica flyover footage starting to emerge. Based on google maps search this looks like west coast, just south of Mahaut. Roof damage but buildings standing, maybe cement wall construction? Eye made landfall on other side of island then crossed it.
