NHC has a category 1 landfall (though post-tropical in shape) on the southwest coast of Ireland!

from wunderground's blog, strongest winds will be offshore, Ireland would only get 40 mph sustained winds at max

Ophelia started to not look as organized Friday as it started to reach cooler waters but appears started interacting with approaching trough acting as a turbo-charger helping it spin up essentially. NHC says favorable conditions next 12hrs with low shear and cooler temps aloft helping convection form around center with instability. Likely to begin transition to extra tropical thereafter.
