Per Canada gov as of 940aADT: Ref: https://weather.gc.ca/hurricane/statements_e.html
Nova Scotia:
-Higher swells Atlantic coast, 2-4metres(6-13ft)
SE Newfoundland:
-Chris to pass over or just S of Avalon Peninsula Thursday PM.
-Avalon Peninsula max winds 80-100km/h(50-62mph) possible
-Rain: 50-70mm+ (2-3in+)
-Higher swells south Atlantic coast, 4-6metres(13-19ft), possibly up to 8metres(26ft) Avalon Peninsula with possible storm surge, offshore near storm center could potentially reach 10metres(33ft).

Lol.. I saw a headline that said Hurricane Chris now strongest storm in Atlantic history! At 1st I was like , then I was like ... then I saw this tweet and was like

Some headlines should be illegal to use. Lol.

Wow, I get that he was just trying to be funny, but considering how sensitive people are to hurricanes these days, that's almost like shouting fire in a theater. People who deliberately play word games like that should be fired, or at least reprimanded.

12July18 11aEDT/AST - Now Post-Tropical Low pressure system. No more updates will be issued from the NHC, an archive of previous advisories can be found here: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/archive/2018/CHRIS.shtml? . Winds 70mph, racing NE 36mph, pressure 987mb.
