It's all good around my place, but same can't be said for others. Some people lost million dollar yachts as 15 ft waves pounded beaches and harbours around the bay, others lost their roofs and fences or had trees crushing their cars, including a $270,000 Porsche!

200,000 people lost power as trees crashed onto powerlines, or the pylons themselves collapsed.

Post Hurricane conditions

We had the same in Tasmania gusts reached 170k in some places lots of damage...but reports in the news media forgot about Tassie

please everyone be safe & stay inside if possible, I have been in these dust, rain storms, and I can assure you they are nothing to play with,
Someone can be easily hurt quickly.

media are once again sensationalising it all. They reckon gusts will hit 150km/h, what a crock of crap. Nothing out of the ordinary will happen. The bigger the hype, the bigger the fizzzaaaaahhhhhh
