It's like whistling in a graveyard. When a scary storm approaches, a few wisecracks makes the path through it a little easier.
So I keep thinking of funny remarks to make about Florence. Yet I also hate the idea of glomming up the threads with important info.
What to do, what to do? Solution! Start a thread just for wisecracks, not-so-wisecracks, witty observations, horrible puns, cartoons, whatever. Might as well have a laugh or two while we wait to see what happens. And if this goes over like a lead balloon, my bad. We'll just let it fall to the bottom of the page and be forgotten, LOL.
ps. Don't forget things like cartoons should be originals.
I hear Florence is turning because of hot water coming down from the DC area. Finally, something good comes from all the hot air coming out of the politicians and all the people getting into hot water.
Piney Creek, I'd like to see the graphic, but unfortunately Facebook locked me out of my account a couple of weeks ago, won't let me back in, and I haven't gotten around to opening another account (not so sure I want to)
Here's another one (with all due respect to persons of Southern heritage):
What do a hurricane and a redneck divorce have in common?
Somebody 's gonna lose a trailer.

If not, well, maybe it's just as well. I wasn't sure if it might be considered against TOS (although I think it's ok; if not mods aree welcome to remove). It's a hurricane map from National Hurricane Updates that accidentally ended up looking a little, umm, eyebrow raising. The computer generated coloring for the bands just happened to hit in the wrong way.

There's a few more hurricane jokes in there, but I'm not going to touch them.
