Quick look at current map: Upper Level flow always controls the surface patterns. Lets take a look..
Orange lines = Upper Level Heights. (Jet stream)
Sergio is entering the Southwest and heading towards Oklahoma because the Jet stream is dipping in the West which looks like a negative tilt (wont get into that right now)
Big Cold Upper low over Ontario.
Ridge finally pushing out over the Eastern U.S and Atlantic because that Upper low is helping dig the Jet stream down into Eastern U.S.
Youd think the FDH would know better, the engine should be facing AWAY from the door.
Yeah, thought the same thing along the lines of ITS TOO CLOSE to the home. I forget what the rule is I think at least 10 feet away from a structure? CO can come right through window or seams that close.
Yikes! Check out that house bottom right. I'd LOVE to speak to the architect, builder, or home owner to see why that stood the test of a Cat 4! Nice job on that home there!

This has been showing since yesterday and the nws has been ignoring it...
The nws will eat **** if this comes to fruition. I feel bad for em being in a tight spot like this.

It's the most frustrating thing when the public and meteos see something and the NWS ignores it. Whether they play conservative or just not buying it, it's frustrating when it happens. And it happens a lot! I see this with winter events as well. Frustrating. I don't want to get into the politics of NWS routines.

Wow! That is some crazy devastation! Thanks for sharing the video. We're just starting to get the rain and winds here in Chapel Hill, NC (about 30 miles northwest of Raleigh). Nothing too bad yet.
