That area got cold rain with Dorian's passage. Temps around 4-7 C / 39-44 F.

They don't usually get any significant snowfall until October.

Ocean water off southeast is now colder than normal thanks to Dorian.

Saw a couple pics from somewhere in Labrador with a dusting of snow. May not be much for them but that’s a snow storm here in SC!

Those cooler water temps are right over the Gulf Stream. It won’t take too long to recover with that.

Yeah, the temps I quoted were from Happy Valley - Goose Bay's official weather station. Looked at it closer on Wunderground, temperatures were 52 F / 11 C when the rain arrived September 8 at 4 am but quickly dropped, and most of the rain fell at 39-41 F / 4-5 C.

It doesn't surprise me at all that there were places that got a few degrees cooler, maybe 32-36 F / 0-2 C or even colder, and snow fell.

Dorian is officially gone. Now fully “extra-Tropical” status and to be absorbed by another Low pressure system this week. An archive of NHC advisories can be found here: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/archive/2019/DORIAN.shtml?
