The name "Dorian" will likely be retired, but it will have to be next spring. The WMO, whom decides hurricane names and retirements, postponed their annual meeting due to the current world-wide situation. They plan to meet next spring and discuss retiring 2019 and 2020 storm names then. The Atlantic names list repeats every 6years so they have 5 more years to do so.
I hope they put that name to rest. That storm ended our rainy season a month early for a bone dry Sept thanks to sinking are on the west side of the system.
