Wed 4Sept2019 5aEDT/ASt: Invest 91L became TD8 now Tropical Storm Gabrielle, the 7th named storm of the 2019 Atlantic Hurricane season. On average the 7th named storm genesis date is Sept. 16th.

Estimated winds 40mph(65km/h), moving NW 10mph(17km/h), pressure 1005mb. Located about 680miles(1,090km) WNW of Cabo Verde islands, about 1,330miles(2,140km) SSW of Azores.

Stays out in the North Atlantic away from land.

Wed 4Sept2019 5pEDT/ASt: Estimated winds 50mph(85km/h), moving NW 9mph(15km/h), pressure 1002mb. Steady strengthening expected, could be a hurricane this weekend. Should start to see the re-curve north and out and away early next week.

Thurs 5Sept2019 5pEDT/AST: Estimated winds 45mph(75km/h), moving NW 10mph(17km/h), pressure 1002mb. Ran into high shear tearing it apart. If survives then in about 36hours has favorable conditions to redevelop as re-curves up and out to sea.

Sat 7Sept2019 11aEDT/AST: Dissipated, came back, now reformed center to the West. Estimated winds 50mph(85km/h), moving WNW 22mph(35km/h), pressure 1002mb. Located about 1,125miles(1,815km) WSW of Azores, probably roughly about the same East of Bermuda. Way out there in central Atlantic. No threat to land. Out to sea. Eventual remnants may clip Scotland / Faroe Islands region mid to late next week.

Tue: Gabrielle became extratropical, no more advisories will be issued. Consult local/gov weather if in British Isles region for storm remnant potential impacts. An archive of NHC advisories can be found here: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/archive/2019/GABRIELLE.shtml?
