Thurs AM: up to 5in/hour rain rates have been occurring in above mentioned band. Hampshire, TX 17.24” in 6hrs (28.11” storm total).

I-10 is closed from Houston to Beaumont. Over 41" of rain has fallen, this is Hurricane Harvey levels but since it's falling on cropland and not a city, the impact isn't as big:
