This area of Texas (called the Golden Triangle of Orange/Beaumont/Port Arthur) is the most humid and one of the rainiest areas of the country. I grew up not far from there, although I sometimes miss the heavy thunderstorms I don't miss the flooding.

We had a very light shower in Austin overnight. It's so amazing what 150 miles of distance does to weather patterns.
