Fri 20Sept 8pEDT/5pPDT: Winds 85mph(140km/h), moving NW 5mph(8km/h), pressure 986mb. Located about 60miles(95km) NNE of Cabo San Lucas, about 65miles(95km) SE of La Paz. Trough over US has pulled Lorena more North into the very warm waters of the Gulf of California, thus it has intensified and developed an eye. Future depends on if comes inland over Baja peninsula or does it go up the Gulf of California and remain a stronger system. Heavy rains will likely bring flooding into portions of Baja region.
