Fri 25-Oct2019 5pEDT/AST,4pCDT: Invest 97L became TD17, now Tropical Storm Olga in Gulf of Mexico.

Winds 40mph(65km/h), moving NNE 18mph(30km/h), pressure 998mb. Located about 260miles(420km) S of Lake Charles, LA. Tropical Storm Winds (39+mph) extend up to 90miles(150km) from center but almost NE corner. Cold front itself also producing similar winds as well just West of Olga. Air Force recon data warranted upgrade but being absorbed by cold front now so likely only lives a few hours. Thus Watches/Warnings are being issued from local NWS offices, no tropical ones will to be issued.

Combined cold front and Olga to produce: 2-4in rain, isolated 8in, some minor coastal flooding, a few tornadoes possible.

Official storm info released by the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) every 6 hours at 5 & 11a/pEDT/AST(4,10a/pCDT) here: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
