*40 (30Nov) but since it’s 2020, who knows!?. But with the NW Caribbean blob no longer signaling development in the models looking quiet at least for now.

Friday 2aEDT 23-Oct, Low has formed just S of Cuba. Expected to move slowly across Cuba, then near/over S FL, then Bahamas towards Sunday. NHC has 40% chance of tropical formation. Regardless, more scattered rains to the region.

No rain for my area of FL. Can't buy any rain this year or a tropical system. South FL has had 4 times the rain i have had this year.

Friday evening 23-Oct: Area drifting S of Cuba now invest “95L” at 70% chance formation. Future track not as certain now. May go Cuba-Bahamas, or Cuba then curve back West, or head into Gulf. Some detailed review from Levi of Tropical Tidbits: https://youtu.be/pJjq_dHzvfI

Sat 24-Oct 8aEDT,7aCDT: invest 95L near Cayman Islands 90% chance formation. Looks like NHC going with into the Gulf of Mexico option: https://twitter.com/nhc_atlantic/sta...72764564901890 Air recon will check the storm out this pm. Not sure what becomes of it but water temps cooler the further N it travels & every degree matters to a tropical system.

I am gonna pray that area of weather in the stair steps south of Cuba moves away from FL and maybe that will make it come my way. Need rain bad with under 25" for the year so far. 800 tropical systems this year and nothing for my area yet. Gulf water temps are way above normal and would love a CAT1 or 2. But upper levels won't favor anything real strong.
