Sunday night 5July 11pEDT/12aADT: TD5 becomes Tropical Storm Edouard after passing Bermuda, headed out to sea. The earliest forming 5th named Atlantic storm on record (old record was held by Emily in 2005 on July 12). The average 5th named storm formation date in the Atlantic is August 31.
Monday 5aEDT/6aADT estimated winds 40mph(65km/h), moving NE 36mph(57km/h), pressure 1008mb. Located about 530miles(855km) S of Cape Race Newfoundland. Racing out to sea! Won't last much longer.
