There are few things I wish to die quickly, but Douglas is certainly one of them.

Fri 24July 11aEDT/5aHST:
Center about 895miles(1,440km) ESE of Hilo, HI
About 1,100miles(1,765km) ESE of Honolulu, HI
Winds 120mph(195km/h)
Moving WNW 18mph(30km/h)
Pressure 962mb
Looks like peaked at 130mph Cat4 and now the expected slow weakening trend has begun. Still forecast to come into Hawaiian islands as a strong Tropical Storm or Cat1 hurricane early Sunday morning through early Monday. If takes a more southern approach towards Big Island / Maui then high mountains will tear apart faster. Most models take it over the northern islands. Likely all islands will feel something. Heavy rains likely the biggest threat and some wind damage possible as well. Possible power issues. Higher surf.

Sun 26July 11aEDT/5aHST:
Center about 145miles(230km) E of Kahului, HI
About 235miles(380km) E of Honolulu, HI
Winds 90mph(150km/h)
Moving WNW 16mph(26km/h)
Pressure 983mb
Hurricanes winds extend up to 30miles(45km) from center, TS winds 105miles(165km). Wind shear affecting storm, keeping most of the action from near the center and northward. Not much wind once you get a little South of the center. This will keep most of the action off Big Island but likely take it across the remaining islands including Honolulu through the day today.

At 320pEDT/920aHST Tropical Storm force winds are nearing Maui as storm begins its closest approach to the island. Majority of storm likely passes to its north but it'll be close enough to feel.

Storm brushing by Maui now to its North over the next several hours, closer pass to Moloka’i likely, then on to O’ahu / Honolulu. The further North it can tip toe the better...South side is much weaker/calmer then right at the eye and northward. Going to be close.
