Latest wind gust in pic in link (I’m out of storage here) appears Eastern edge of PA, across most of NJ 40-60mph earlier, right along open waters occasionally 60-70+mph. https://twitter.com/nwseastern/statu...13821632434177
There’s really no Southern side of storm so after center passes, things should be winding down. Can’t tell you when your peak wind is, but after small back edge of center passes then should quiet down more.
At least this hurricane is making weather comfortable. In the 70’s and dropping down to 60 tonight . Rain, Power outages and storm surge are unnecessary consequences though. Why didn’t we just get a strong cold front instead to end summer.

Man did that one leave NC quickly... in Central NC we may have managed half an inch of rain and some 20-30 mph gusts if I'm being generous... not a meteorologist but being on the west side of the storm for this one helped us out a good bit, also the fact that its moving so quickly minimalizes impacts. We could use a pass, we've had plenty of other TS's in recent years, hoping we can get out of 2020 without another thing added to the plate... but the Coastal Carolinas took a good one, it looks like. Hope yall are good down there...
on the bright side we got a little cooldown here thanks to Isaias... 65 and perfect for the morning run... we recently had a streak of like 20-25 days of 90+ broken before Isaias came through...
I have one of these power adaptors for the car.
I start the car. Plug this in. Run an extension cord into house. Plug it into surge protector. I can power up my modem, laptop, charge my phone and have a small lamp.
There are lots of limbs and trees down. Mostly Maples and Pines as usual.
My backyard is messy. Nothing crazy though.
The smell of Pines and Maples in the air
I hope my dad has enough battery in the Tesla to run for some time if the power goes out.
