The NWS Lake Charles weather radar is still out of service due to Laura, but most has been replaced now at a cost of around $2mln. Will be back up again sometime in 2021. https://twitter.com/nexradroc/status...08893389479936

The Lake Charles NWS radar was placed back in service on Friday (22Jan). Took about 5-months and $1.65mln to replace. Press release: https://www.weather.gov/news/012221-lake-charles-radar
