Wednesday 26August Tropical Storm Hernan forms just off SW coast of Mexico.

Estimated winds 40mph(65km/h), moving NE 6mph(9km/h), pressure 1004mb.
Center about 185miles(300km) S of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico, about 445miles(720km) SE of S tip of Baja. TS winds extend out up to 105miles(165km) from center, mainly to the South.

Looks to curve up near Puerto Vallarta as a weak blob then back out where it should fall apart and may interact with TS Iselle this weekend.

Official storm stats are released by the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) every 6hours at 5 & 11am/pmEDT/HST (2&8a/p PDT) here: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/

Thurs 27Aug 5pEDT,2pPDT/MST
Estimated winds 40mph(65km/h), moving NW 6mph(9km/h), pressure 1004mb.
Center located about 75miles(km) SW of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico
About 315miles(510km) SE of S tip of Baja
TS winds extend up to 105miles(165km) from center, but mainly to the South and SW offshore.

Although it moves off away from shore this weekend, tropical moisture should spread up north and provide some scattered rains into Southern / maybe central Arizona in the Sat-Mon time frame. Sorry Cali, you look to miss out it would appear.

Moisture helped pushed North by Hernan moving into AZ today. Flash flood Watches posted some locations (Watch = possible/ingredients for are there, Warning = occurring imminent).
