Tue 1Sept 5pEDT/AST Tropical Storm Omar forms (formally 90L & TD15), earliest "O" storm on record.
Winds 40mph(65km/h), moving ENE 15mph(24km/h), pressure 1007mb
Located about 225miles(365km) E of Cape Hatteras, NC
Heading out to sea. Not expected to last very long. Being sheared and barely hanging on.

Storms keep firing off to the E & SE corner of outer edge of storm, but away from the naked swirl of Omar. High wind shear over the region. It’s about done.

Still spinning, still popping up showers well removed from it's center, still looses tropical characteristics and becomes another regular Low pressure in the Atlantic soon.

Yep, still there, still a naked swirl but it's able to keep popping up random storms off to it's South as slowly spins out to sea.
