Tuesday 29Sept Tropical Storm Marie forms well West of Mexico (formally 94e, TD18e).
As of 5pEDT/2pPDT:
Winds 40mph(65km/h)
Moving W 12mph(19km/h)
Pressure 1005mb
Center about 645miles(1,035km) S of S tip of Baja.
Heading out to sea. Guidance says rapid intensification likely this week before hits colder waters & some wind shear and weakens later this weekend. Moisture eventually may be pulled up into portions of the W coast of US late next week.

Nice swirl of clouds. Just about gone. A few storms well off to it's North blown away by wind shear. Given shape and predicted path of future remnants, doesn't look like moisture will reach the US West coast now.
