Monday 19-Oct2020 Tropical Storm Epsilon forms well SE of Bermuda. Formally 94L, TD27.

Winds 45mph(75km/h)
Movement: Stationary
Pressure 998mb
Center about 730miles(1,180km) SE of Bermuda
TS winds extend up to 275miles(445km) from center.

Slow steady strengthening expected through the week. Could near Bermuda as Hurricane Friday before turning out to sea.

If storm still looks to pass close enough to Bermuda then timing would dictate Watches to be issued Wednesday.

Center about 580miles(935km) ESE of Bermuda
TS winds extend up to 345miles(555km) from center.

TS Watch for Bermuda. Center looks to stay East of there but massive wind field reach = likely to receive TS winds sometime Thursday into Friday. Then heads out to sea as loses tropical characteristics and intensifies into a very strong N Atlantic Low.


With Watch now posted that means NHC updates storm stats / cone map every 3hours.

Center about 190miles(300km) E of Bermuda
Hurricane winds extend up to 15miles(30km) from center, TS winds 240miles(390km), mainly to the N.

Passing by Bermuda but just out of reach of TS winds now so TS Warnings dropped. Conditions improve from here. Larger wave action and higher rip current threat for the entire US coast next few days.
