In a small pocket of favorable conditions so strengthens today. But very dry air wraps mostly around that bubble to its NW, W, S & SSE sides. And wind shear likely awaits it once starts moving more N again. A cornered storm.

Please stall northwest of me and bring me 20" of rain. I don't want it going to far east or the heavy weather will miss me to the east. If it can stay 100 miles west of me that would be my best case for rain. Wind is not gonna be a thing with this storm.

TS winds extend up to 60miles(95km) from center
On the move again. Can see the smaller center swirl off on Key West radar. Get ready for more scattered showers, sometimes heavy, across portions of FL through the week.

Things are going to get fun within a few hours. Wished forward speed would slow down so i can get more rain. With any luck i expect 3 to 5" and wind of around 60mph. About time. Waited years for this.

Center about 170miles(270km) SSW of Tampa
Cat1 hurricane. Most of the storm is offset, action on the East side of center. Tampa getting some rain, much heavier South of there for now. Radar velocity (wind) channel suggest gusty conditions near North Port - Venice, and much stronger just offshore of Cape Coral. All that moving up and slowly closer to the coast. Tornado Watch for portions of W FL as brief quick moving spin-ups will be possible in bands.
