MUTTSHACK ANIMAL RESCUE FOUNDATION is in desperate need of a flat bottom boat to rescue animals trapped in an animal shelter in Denim Springs. PLEASE! If you know of anyone with a flat bottom boat, we need to get these animals out before sundown. WE've contacted local media and NO ONE has STEPPED UP!!
If you have a boat or information about one, please contact Tim St. John (logistics coordinator) at (323)243-1467 This boat is needed NOW!! Not after dark, not tomorrow, but NOW! Please help if you can!
Yes, even if this needs to be deleted in the near future, there should be no problem with it being up tonight. It's just nice that someone is concerned about this and I'm glad you posted it.
Wondering what happened to those animals. I have a small flat bottomed boat but I'm in Mass. so that is no help. If I could've, I would've. I think what they did for the pets this time with Gustav was great. We still have oodles of pitbulls from NO and Katrina up here. No one in their right mind wants a pitbull. I feel so sad for these dogs. I wish people would stop breeding them and people would stop buying them for nefarious reasons.
I'm wondering what happened to them too (I wasn't the one who needed it, I just saw it on another board). I hope they were ok. It's horrible to think about.
In Livingston Parish where Denham Springs in, there are plenty of flat bottom boats. I am sure they had to have found one. If you don't own one in Livingston Parish, you know someone who does...
scorp, have you checked out that other board yet to find out what happened to the animals?
I just did - they got the help and the animals are fine!!
