Area just East-Northeast of Caribbean.

Mon 21Aug 1230aEDT/AST - TD6 (formed Saturday) was upgraded to TS Gert after satellite cloud and wind data supported 40mph winds.

Mon 5aEDT/AST: Winds 40mph(65km/h), moving West 9mph(15km/h), pressure 1006mb.

TD6/Gert was always expected to be short - may not last today. Already center exposed with wind shear. Tiny, a swirl with a few scattered storms and breezy.

Gert is now Post-Tropical (lost tropical characteristics) on Tuesday. Some random scattered showers pop up and fade in the general area that used to be Gert. An NHC archive: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/archive/2023/GERT.shtml?
