This thread will be dedicated to tropical cyclones that develop across the Atlantic hurricane basin in 2008.

Here is a list of the names given to any cyclone that reaches tropical storm strength courtesy of the National Hurricane Center:
Quote:
Arthur
Bertha
Cristobal
Dolly
Edouard
Fay
Gustav
Hanna
Ike
Josephine
Kyle
Laura
Marco
Nana
Omar
Paloma
Rene
Sally
Teddy
Vicky
Wilfred
So far the only name used was Arthur, a weak tropical storm that formed over Central America and moved northwest into the Yucatan Peninsula of Southern Mexico.

At the present time, the Atlantic basin remains quiet.
