I see that the 5PM forecast is now calling for Fay to strengthen to hurricane force before making landfall the second time on the NE FL coast. Here in Polk just more rain and dark skies with gusty breezy conditions.

Looks like she found you more attractive that me. I'm just wondering how many went to the east coast from Tampa to avoid the lady?

Another view for above. You can see the formed eye in motion. Looks like she had it in for some of our S FL friends.

It's rainning pretty hard here, coming in from the east. Power is flickering off and on, there was a tornado about 20 miles south of me, did some damage. I guess the worst to come will be in a few hours...

I'm afraid you are in for a long night. I took my nap expecting her to be wound down and she is even better organized than I am now. Anyway stay safe. I don't think it is beach weather at the moment. I can just see some silly surfers out there mixing it up with jaws and Fay at the same time??? Crazy.

Theres a video of a windsurfer trying to surf, but the wind was so strong it lifted him up and blew him against a building. Thats if I'm not mistaken. Its all over the internet now.

Here's a grim reminder of what these storms are known for. Fay did this today even as just a storm.

Stay safe up there BWP. Looks like you maybe in for an east side hook from Fay after she might strengthen more.

Watch out Jacksonville, looks like you may be experiencing a hurricane landfall.
