Polk county is on the fringe and getting some light rain in the SE part of the county. NW in the Lakeland area that I just left had only a couple of light sprinkles and only gentle breeze. This kind of weather was more the norm and would never make the news on the plains when I lived there. Here is the latest track.

Hello all from Brevard County, just rain and some wind right now. News is saying that the storm will exit where I live. They said that the storm is strengthening, could get winds up to 60-65 MPH. Be safe all!

Yikes Denise!

I'm still fretting about my mangos. We're up to about 30 downed ones and another branch broke off just now. I have a lot of wind where I am.

It's hard to believe that Fay is strengthening over land! The radar image looks like a complete eye wall is forming. I guess it's not over till it's over.

Well Ms. Fay can do what she likes. I'm taking advantage the dreary weather day off by taking myself a nap. Looking out into the gray rain has just about put me to sleep. After looking at the aerial on NOAA there is now a small defined eye on the east side of Lake Okeechobee.

Default Port Saint Lucie

Close to the White City area. north end of PSL. Lots of rain bands coming through here, had to let water out of the pool two times so far. Looks like flooding is the main issue. First time I remember seeing a tropical strorm gain speed over land.. Starting to get quite windy out there too. Stay safe!!

I just saw on the news that Okeechobee is getting hammered. Trees and power lines down from the wind and looks like it's raining in sheets.

It's just really gloomy here in Tampa. Light gusts of wind and a few sprays of rain. Glad it's cooled down, though!

You should not wait until it gets windy to put up your shutters! I am glad that I put mine up on Saturday. Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck to all! Hold tight, stay safe!
