Am I reading this wrong? I cant view the video but I am reading this and thinking "Loses.....what? An arm, a leg?"

Or is it just saying that he confronted the storm and lost the confrontation? What did he do?

I know that you see a lot of surfers out in the time before a hurricane or tropical storm is coming, they get excited around here by the bigger waves as we have kind of puny ones normally.

Sadly there were others that suffered a worse fate. A 21 yr old woman was visiting from out of state went swimming with 2 males. She died.

Since I watch TWC often, I got to see the clip of the "kite guy" several times. Katie, was the member that you posted the link to really "the kite guy" or was he just joking?

All the deaths were tragic, but as we were watching the reports, I couldn't help but wonder why all of them were reported as storm related. For instance~the road was wet and the man was speeding while trying approaching a curve. We have a lot of ice, snowstorms, poor visibility in our area and things like that wouldn't be considered "storm related".

All I know is what was posted in the link. IF it IS a joke then its Not funny its Sick. Does any one know the Kite guy? I would like to know how he Really is.
