yeah I know....just sayin'. The bad things about the Gulf of Mexico are that:
A. The waters are blood-warm
B. If it enters through that little strait between Pinar Del Rio, Cuba and the Yucatan, it's gonna gain tons of power
I'd much rather he shoot up the Atlantic and out into open water. He he does go up the middle of the gulf I'll have to see what kind of sunsets we get to photograph.
Maybe you need to send out an SOS that TX is way to hot for retirement? Maybe he will take you seriously and go away. In all seriousness I'm more concerned about the trip to town on the highway than the storm. I can prepare for the storm but not the fool that just ran the red light and T-Boned me or rear ended me while I was waiting on it to change. I have much respect for the storms but no fear. Stay calm and cool. Well wish you could stay cool but maybe not in Houston.

Funny you should say that, my husband got rear ended this morning on his way to work, nothing serious, but still an aggravation.
