Looks like we are about to see a very active week or so with all these tropical systems forming. From the West to the East. Has anyone followed the rain and flooding in Arizona from that tropical system? Horrible, then we have been dealing with Fay and now two more poised to hit the U.S.

Wow, that was fast. Yesterday afternoon they were talking about two new areas they were watching in the Atlantic. Earlier this morning, one of them was just called "Eight". Now it's already Hanna!!! Just heard the awful news that Gustav has already claimed 23 lives in Haiti. That's sad.

Angel, yes~I've been following the terrible flooding in Az. It doesn't seem to get near as much coverage as the East Coast does and that's unfortunate. Did you see the woman and child rescue in the Apache Junction area? Those two guys were awesome cause those waters looked pretty scary.

Yea, I don't think they really know what Hanna is going to do yet. They do seem to be a bit concerned about her though.

Has your area been hit by the flooding from the remnants of Fay?

yeah I saw it, amazing to say the least! That thing they were walking on was getting pounded with water and debris, could have went at any time! So glad they got mother and child out to safety.

Hanna has just formed and they will have to get a bearing on it with the hunters before they can determine more, also the wind sheer will steer it if there is any, so we wait and see. Look what Gustav has done with that long time over Hati and then South! We just wait and see at the moment...

Fay caused us much rain as far inland as we are! We are now in a surplus of rainfall for the year, our drought has finally ended.

OUr local weather guys are telling us to keep an eye on them for the next few days as they are predicting if it hits it will give us that northeast quardrant and even though we are 6 hours from the coast, the impact with rain and spin off tornadoes and wind will be felt here. I remember Katrina, the first time ever that we went under a Tropical Storm Warning....And yes, we felt it, and I don't want to feel that again...is why I don't live near the coast!

I just feel for those people in New Orleans. They must be saying why us again. It looks like it is heading right there. I heard that hannah will hit a big wind gust that could push it towards cuba. I just heard that they are thinking that Hannah could be worse then they thought. I just heard that they are watching 6 storms now. Gustav ands hannah and now there are 3 others that are forming. Is this usual?
