Scary!!! It appears that Fla., Ga., and the Carolinas need to watch that closely.

You guys do know that there is also something that came off the coast of Africa yesterday. (Sat.) It's not Hanna or the one behind it~possibly Ike~it's a new one. It didn't sound like he was even numbered yet though.

Looks like we could be in for some weather for the next few weeks??? I live in NC and we have been suffering a drought but it looks like that might just be ending soon. I don't think we are going to need all of this do that though!

It is number 9 and they did say what name it would be if they name it. Today they seem to be talking more about Hanna.

Yea, there's actually something forming AFTER 9 already. It doesn't sound like they know much about it yet, but they spotted something there yesterday.

That's why I said "Hanna and her sisters" in my first post.
Bad pun, I know, but when faced with 4 storms to worry about, I have to keep a sense of humor with this.

Fay woke everyone up I hope. And now this may be the real show. After all Fay wasn't exactly a "Dry Run".

It's ironic, but not in a good way that were getting this constant flow of storms. I know the media just loves it, they get expanded ratings and as soon as Gustav is old news then suddenly you will see on your screen Hanna. They are gonna make this one sound as if it is hurricane Hugo, despite the fact it will likley remain a cat 1 or 2. Then when Hanna is over, suddenly Ike will be roaring towards land (Ike is TD#9) then Josephine (currently that wave off Africa) will all happen and people beware!!

Yeah, I just did my annual hurricane supply shopping trip. So much fun. We haven't had a direct hit here in Savannah in about 100 years, but I buy supplies regularly. LOL

It was just on the Weather Channel's, "It can happen tomorrow," the other day, about Savannah - how Savannah has lucked out for so long. It seems Savannah has dodged the bullet for quite a long while. With the way Africa is kicking out the waves, it's starting to remind me of those baseball machines at the batting cages.
