We are in North Carolina and I haven't seen anything.
You can track all the storms here. I don't think at the moment NC is in any imminent danger. That can change in a few hours so keep watch and find a new station locally that will broadcast any warnings. HTH. Enjoy NC.

You must have all forgotten about Hurricane Jeanne of 2004. She was a real nutcase. She lingered and lingered in the Atlantic, took her sweet time making landfall, then when she did finally make landfall, continued her wayward amble - dumping buckets of rain all through her crooked path. I am beginning to think Hanna is going to be another Jeanne. Beware of the slow ones. The longer they linger, the longer the wind one way, the longer the rain lasts and then the wind reverses and goes the other way - - on and on and on....

I was almost normal before living through Jeanne.

I was never normal so I can't blame Jeanne. She was the third member of the famous '04 trilogy that hit us. I saw the eyes of three that year and it was rough after Charley but Jeanne did little damage to me. I don't remember being without power more than a few minutes if that. She did dump a lot of rain if my memory has not failed me. Yes Hanna is taking her time and loading up with moisture for someone somewhere... It's just a question of who. Maybe even NY?

This morning TWC is predicting problems for NC this weekend. It looks like late Fri. night/Sat. morning could be a problem over there.

I think Hanna has gotten us prepared for what could possibly be a landfall with Ike. I REALLY hope Ike just goes out to sea.
