Booked to leave for Grand Cayman day after tomorrow. What's the local word on Tropical Storm/ Hurricane Gustav (not sure how it is catagorized now)?

Anyone been through this - booked but a hurricane may be coming? Any advice?

Will the airlines contact us if the leg of our flight to GC is cancelled or just let us get to our Caribbean take-off point airport then strand us there?
Trying to check the net for info - only finding info on Gustav and Haiti. Any suggestions for good sites?

Any info will be helpful and is greatly appreciated.

This is the place for the latest info:
Tropical Storm GUSTAV

As far as the airline policies I would contact them directly.

It looks like Gustav isn't going to be good wherever he really ends up hitting. His winds are now 90 mph.

Looks like it's getting pretty close to Cayman.

On Hurricane GUSTAV Cayman is that little spec near where it says "8am Friday", correct?

Now there is a nationwide problem with the FAA computer system for flights - is someone telling me not to go?

Well, it would be something to consider. Is there any chance that you can rebook your vacation without losing a lot of $$?
